Every child loves trains and this one will prove to be no exception: the Locomobile Mobile features 2 little train engines and 2 carriages, all in brilliant colours. A perfect addition to your child’s bedroom, where it will bounce along happily in constant, coordinated motion. Easy to assemble – just a simple “click” will connect the pieces (which are already mounted on strings in a pre-assembled hanger system) into place, ready for putting up. A captivating example of the traditional Danish art of mobile design, one that is suitable even for the smallest babies, who will be able to detect the outlines of the moving shapes, even before they can appreciate the brilliance of the colours.

  • Theme: A Locomotive Train consisting of 4 coloured railway cars
  • Colours: Green, Red, Yellow, Blue
  • Material: Seriagraphical Foil
  • Size: 32 x 40 cm
  • Design: Louise Helmersen. Flensted is a Danish family business started by Christian and Grethe Flensted in l953; his son Ole Flensted took over the running of the business with his wife Aase about 30 years ago.
  • Every mobile is assembled by hand by dedicated skilled artisans who work directly from home. This production method protects the environment by saving over 10 tons of fuel a year
  • Note: newborns up to the age of 6 months are not yet able to distinguish colours, and small children do not necessarily notice details that adults might find amusing. They can see and enjoy geometric shapes and boldly contrasting lines much better, especially if they are moving. Flensted emphasize shape and movement in the design of their mobiles for babies and young children based on this knowledge
