Elysia is the result of a meaningful collaboration between Inglesina, the Baby Wellness Foundation, and the Padua Hospital, born with a clear mission: to design the ideal nursing pillow, offering maximum comfort for both mother and baby. After the first prototype was created, the team actively involved 24 new mothers, who tested the product and provided valuable feedback. Thanks to their insights, the pillow was refined step by step, reaching its final version with the thirteenth model.
During the testing phase, participants were also asked to rate their levels of stress and pain during breastfeeding in three different conditions: without a pillow, with pillows from other brands, and with Elysia. The results speak for themselves:
- Without a pillow: average score of 5 (maximum discomfort)
- With pillows from other brands: average score of 3.6
- With Elysia: average score of 0.45 (almost no pain or stress)
Designed to support you from the very first days, Elysia adapts to your baby’s growth with two sides of differentiated density: the First Milk side, firmer, gently supports newborns during the first months (0–3 months); the Second Milk side, softer, cradles your baby’s body as they grow stronger (3+ months). The central insert, the "Comfort Zone" on the baby’s side, features zoned-density padding that provides gentle support to the baby’s lumbar area, encouraging proper alignment of the torso and head.
Thanks to its ergonomic shape and adjustable belt with magnetic closure, Elysia stays perfectly in place, supporting your shoulders, back, and arms. The breathable 3D mesh and bamboo fabric provide a pleasant sensation of freshness, even during longer feeding sessions.
