Houses of Asia - 90% Recycled Cardboard
Did you know that the Batak people of Indonesia build their houses on stilts? Aren’t you curious about finding out more about how typical houses are made in Asia – at San’a’ in Yemen, for example, the centuries old buildings in soft, beautiful colours of pink and ochre are decorated with stones and alabaster windows. This is your chance to build models of these extraordinary houses from Asia, and it couldn’t be easier with Mitik’s kit: all the pieces are prepared on pre-cut sheets that just have to be removed and assembled – no need for any scissors or glue. This provides a fun and educational project for children as young as 8 years old – they just have to follow the informative instruction guide, and use their own imagination and creativity to colour in the pieces. A great activity for a group of friends, or for children to pursue with their families.
