Economy Pack of 50 disposable face masks. These face masks are CE certified and have an inbuilt pliable metal insert in the top edge which allows for better fit on the face. They also meet American FDA Standard 10063161.
Elasticated loops on the side for easy wear and removal. One size. Wearing a face mask can help reduce the spread of virus by reducing airborne viral spread from sneezes and coughs.
Wearing a face mask helps protect both the person wearing it and others. However, please note that it does not protect 100% and it does not substitute other protective measures such as washing hands, wearing gloves and social distancing.
We are donating a proportion of all purchases made on Family Nation to the Italian Red Cross by procuring and donating high quality, certified face masks to the Italian Red Cross.
Sourcing high quality, CE certified, factory sealed medical masks at this time is very difficult because they are in such high demand. The cost to Family Nation of these masks was therefore high, but we have decided to discount them to make it more within the reach of the families that need them.
Guide to use of face masks (according to the WHO):
- Before putting on a mask, clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
- Cover mouth and nose with mask and make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask.
- Avoid touching the mask while using it; if you do, clean your hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
- Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do NOT re-use single-use masks.
- To remove the mask: remove it from behind (do not touch the front of mask); discard immediately in a closed bin; clean hands with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
