Pure Low Bed Maxi - Shabby White - 140 x 180 cm - Made in Italy
The Montessori-inspired Pure Low Maxi bed by Italian brand, Woodly, is low on the ground and does not have borders. The minimalist structure has a rounded frame that holds the mattress keeping it firmly in place while suspending it in order to allow air to circulate.
It is 19cm high from the ground, allowing a child to get on or off the bed independently, as per Montessori philosophy. Children can begin by rolling off the bed and can slowly learn to get off without falling The bed is entirely handmade by Woodly, artisans in the hills of Parma in FSC- certified solid spruce and beech wood with finishes in natural Shellac polish and beeswax. Natural shellac or French polish is a traditional wood finish used for musical instruments which is completely natural and leaves a high glossy and smooth finish while being so safe and ecologic that it can be used as a food dye!
The Low Maxi Bed by Woodly (144 x 184 cm) is ideal for adults or children 3-4 years and up.
The Futon mattress shown in the picture can be purchased separately. This mattress is made in pure, non-treated, hypoallergenic cotton that guarantees excellent insulation as well as protection from dust and dust mites. The bed can also be used with a regular mattress sized 140 x 180 cm.
This bed is ideal for those in search of a beautifully designed bed that protects both their child and the environment. Available in three colors: honey (a warm tone), natural and shabby white.
