The initial low position, typical of Montessori beds, promotes children’s independence in getting in and out of bed. The 5 protective rails provide extra safety from the first months and can be easily configured or removed as the child grows. The bed adapts to different needs: it can be raised up to 23 cm from the floor for a higher version, and later be transformed into a classic single bed for kids or adults. Its robust structure can support an adult weighing over 100 kg, making it ideal for the whole family. The complete kit includes the bed base, rails, roof, and slats, and is made of natural pine wood, without plastic, combining sustainability and quality.
In addition, the Evi 2-in-1 Montessori Pull-Out Bed and Storage Drawer offers a versatile solution that optimizes space. It can be used as a large storage drawer for toys, blankets, books, and other items, or easily transformed into a pull-out bed when needed, by replacing the drawer base with the included slats. This pull-out bed is ideal for families with more children or for hosting friends or relatives. Its structure is designed to ensure stability and comfort, supporting even an adult. - Materials: The bed frame is made of pine wood and the slats are made of birch plywood with a thickness of 15 mm. We have chosen particularly strong bolts to ensure that the Evi Bed remains solid and reliable over the years.

- The Kit Includes: Bed base, 5 safety rails (headboard, footboard, two side rails, and a fall protection rail on the access side), structure with house roof, slats, and legs for single bed version.
- The bed base lifts off the ground without the addition of extra feet to avoid weak points. It mounts at a height of 3.5 cm in Montessori version (to allow airflow) and at 23 cm in single bed version.

- To use the drawer as storage: Install the dedicated perforated panels to create a closed, yet ventilated, space, insert the items, and slide the drawer under the bed. Thanks to the wheels, the movement will be smooth and effortless.
- To transform it into a pull-out bed: Remove the storage panels, insert the slats into the designated frame, add the Evi Aloe Vera Mattress 195 x 90 x 11 cm or any 190 x 90 mattress (max 15 cm high), and the bed is ready for use.
- Supervision: Always supervise if used by a child in bed mode. While the floor design reduces the risk of falls, supervision is still necessary.

- Age: Usable from the first months of life up to adulthood (no limitations).
- Proper assembly: Ensure all parts are securely assembled according to the instructions. Periodically check that the screws are tight. We recommend an annual inspection of all joints.
- Appropriate use: Do not use as a climbing or play surface. Do not sit or jump on the drawer when it is empty or in storage mode.
- Edges and surfaces: Check that there are no sharp edges, splinters, or damaged parts. Do not use the bed if it is damaged.
- Use only on flat surfaces without obstacles
- Cleaning: Regular maintenance is very simple: just a damp sponge, without detergents, for a gentle cleaning of the surfaces. We recommend regularly cleaning the slats and the area under the mattress.
For a more thorough cleaning and maintenance, you can use fine sandpaper (grain 180 or 220) on the areas that require it. The Evi wood is untreated with varnishes and can always be refreshed by sanding. - Safety: There is no specific European regulation for Montessori-style beds, so we have applied the general safety principles for children’s furniture. Additionally, Evi meets the safety, strength, and durability requirements outlined in the European standard UNI EN 1725.
