The Evi 4 in 1 Montessori Evolutionary Bed by Family Nation is designed to accompany children’s growth from birth to adulthood, avoiding the need to buy multiple beds over time. A single solution of high quality, with beautiful design, and made to last over time.
In its first configuration, the Evi Bed is a Montessori floor bed, encouraging the independence of little ones as they get in and out on their own. A small space between the slats and the floor ensures proper ventilation, keeping the bed and mattress dry.
For safety from the very first months, the bed includes 5 protective elements: headboard, footboard, split side rail, and fall-prevention rail. The modular rails make the bed safe even for the most active children and allow a parent to lie down next to the child thanks to compatibility with a standard adult mattress.
As children grow, the Evi Bed easily adapts: without extra parts, you can raise the base and rails up to 21 cm using the pre-set holes, while keeping the structure strong. This setup creates useful space under the bed and makes cleaning easier. The rails can be added or removed according to needs.
When children want a “grown-up bed,” the Evi Bed transforms into a classic single bed (200x90 cm), also suitable for teens and adults up to over 100 kg. Simply remove the roof and barriers and install the 4 legs already included.
The complete kit includes: bed base, 5 rails, house-shaped roof structure, slats, and two sets of legs (for the house version and the single bed version). Made of natural pine wood, hand-sanded with a satin finish and packaged without plastic, it combines quality, sustainability, and beautiful design.
Completing the sleep system is the Evi Removable Mattress 200x90x12 cm with Aloe Vera treatment, designed to provide comfort, hygiene, and natural well-being.
The cover in 100% stretch polyester fabric treated with Aloe Vera offers freshness and softness, gradually releasing soothing and regenerating substances through microcapsules.
The internal structure in thermo-bonded polyester fiber ensures balanced support, breathability, and long-lasting durability, anatomically adapting to the body and reducing pressure points.
The cover is removable and washable with a zipper on 3 sides, making maintenance easy and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The mattress is also hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and breathable, ideal even for sensitive skin.
Certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, it guarantees the absence of harmful substances. Its Made in Italy production stands for quality, attention to detail, and a blend of craftsmanship and innovation.

- Materials: The bed frame is made of pine wood, and the slats are made of 15 mm thick birch plywood. We chose particularly robust bolts to ensure the Evi Bed remains solid and reliable over time.

- The bed base lifts off the ground without the addition of extra feet to avoid weak points. It can be mounted at a height of 3.5 cm in the Montessori version (to allow air circulation) and at 21 cm in the single bed version.
- The protective rails allow the use of mattresses up to 19 cm thick, making the bed comfortable even for adults.
- Supports a maximum weight of over 100 kg.
- Age: Suitable from the first months of life up to adulthood (no limitations).
- Cleaning: Regular maintenance is very easy: simply use a damp sponge, without any cleaning agents, for gentle surface cleaning. We recommend regularly cleaning the slats and the area under the mattress.
For a more thorough cleaning and maintenance, you can use fine sandpaper (grit 180 or 220) on areas that require it. The wood of Evi is untreated with varnish, so you can always restore it by sanding. - Safety: There are no specific European regulations for Montessori-style beds, so we have applied the general safety principles valid for children's furniture. Additionally, the Evi Bed complies with the safety, strength, and durability requirements outlined by the European standard UNI EN 1725.
