Initially, the bed is placed close to the floor, promoting children's independence in getting in and out of bed. A small gap between the slats and the floor ensures necessary ventilation, keeping the bed and mattress dry. The 5 safety rails (headboard, footboard, two side rails, and a fall protection rail) provide extra protection, ideal for younger children. With its modular design, the Evi Bed encourages children's independence, creating a safe space to sleep, rest, or play. The rails are designed at a height that allows the use of an adult mattress, making it comfortable for a parent to sleep next to the child.
As children grow, the Evi 4 in 1 Montessori Evolving Bed easily adapts to their new needs. You can adjust the height of the base and rails up to 21 cm from the floor, without adding feet or changing the legs, ensuring a simple and safe transition. This configuration also creates useful space under the bed for storing items or for easier cleaning.
When your child grows, the Evi Bed can be transformed into a single adult bed by removing the roof and rails and adding the 4 legs included in the kit. Thanks to its large dimensions (200 x 90 cm), the bed is sturdy and capable of supporting an adult up to 100 kg.

- Color: Natural wood (untreated with varnish)
- Materials: The bed structure is made of pine wood, and the slats are made of 15 mm thick birch plywood. We chose particularly robust bolts to ensure the Evi Bed remains solid and reliable over time.

- The Kit Includes: bed base, 5 safety rails (headboard, footboard, two side rails, and a fall protection rail), house-shaped frame, slats, and legs for single bed version.
- The bed base lifts off the ground without the addition of extra feet to avoid weak points. It can be mounted at a height of 3.5 cm in the Montessori version (to allow air circulation) and at 21 cm in the single bed version.
- The protective rails allow for the use of mattresses with 19 cm thickness, making the bed comfortable even for adults.
- Supports a maximum weight of over 100 kg.
- Age: Suitable from the first months of life up to adulthood (no age limitations).
- Cleaning: Regular maintenance is very easy: simply use a damp sponge, without any cleaning agents, for gentle surface cleaning. We recommend regularly cleaning the slats and the area under the mattress.
For deeper cleaning and maintenance, you can use fine sandpaper (grit 180 or 220) on areas that require it. The wood of Evi is untreated with varnish, so you can always restore it by sanding. - Safety: There are no specific European regulations for Montessori-style beds, so we have applied the general safety principles for furniture intended for children. Additionally, the Evi Bed complies with safety, strength, and durability requirements set by the European standard UNI EN 1725.
