The Evi 140×70 storage drawer is entirely made of MDF panels with a laminated surface, smooth and easy to clean. It moves on 6 wheels for smooth and silent sliding. With a total height of 217 mm (205 mm body + 12 mm wheels), it is designed to fit perfectly under the Evi bed both in low position (35 mm from the floor) and high position (210 mm from the floor).
As a drawer, it becomes a key ally for keeping the bedroom tidy: toys, blankets, books, stuffed animals, clothes, or seasonal items… everything finds its place in a harmonious, accessible, and safe way. The sturdy MDF structure supports up to 100 kg, ensuring strength and long-lasting durability.
The Evi Storage Drawer complies with European safety standards BS EN 1725:2023 – Furniture – Beds – Requirements for safety, strength and durability. The laminated finish provides a soft-touch surface that is resistant and easy to maintain day after day.

- To use the drawer as a storage unit: assemble the dedicated perforated panels to create a closed yet ventilated space, place your items inside, and slide the drawer under the bed. Thanks to the wheels, movement will be smooth and effortless.
- Proper assembly: ensure all parts are securely assembled according to the instructions. Periodically check that screws are tightly fastened. We recommend an annual check of all joints.
- Appropriate use: do not use as a climbing or play surface. Do not sit or jump on the drawer when it is empty.
- Edges and surfaces: check that there are no sharp edges, splinters, or damaged parts. Do not use the bed if it is damaged.
- Use only on flat, obstacle-free surfaces
- Cleaning: Routine maintenance is very simple: just use a damp sponge, without detergents, for gentle surface cleaning. We recommend regularly cleaning the slats and the area under the mattress as well.
For more thorough cleaning and maintenance, you can use fine sandpaper (180 or 220 grit) on areas that need it. Evi wood is untreated with varnishes, so you can always restore it by lightly sanding. - Safety: There is no specific European regulation for Montessori-style beds, so we have applied general safety principles for children's furniture. Additionally, Evi complies with safety, strength, and durability requirements of the European standard UNI EN 1725.
