Stacking Montessori Bed BIG - Natural - Made in Italy
The stackable Montessori BIG bed by Woodly is beautiful, ecological and educational. Featuring a light structure, Big can be stacked upon other models, making it ideal for multiple-child homes to help save space. It is 19 cm high to allow children to get on and off autonomously, inspired by Montessori philosophy, but comes with sturdy side walls to prevent falls.
Big is completely handmade in Italy by artisans in the hills of Parma. The structure is made in solid spruce and beech wood.
It is finished in natural shellac (French polish), bees wax and water-based paints. Shellac is a furniture finish that is traditionally used to polish handmade musical instruments and it is so safe and ecological that it is used also as a food colouring! We sell separately the correctly sized Futon (160x70 cm) - made of pure, non-treated, hypoallergenic cotton that is an excellent breathable insulator and provides protection from dust and dust mites.
The Montessori-inspired by by Woodly, Big is 168x78cm and is ideal for children 2-3 years old up to 140cm.
Big is entirely handmade in Italy by artisans in the hills of Parma and is ideal for those in search of a beautifully designed bed that protects both their child and the environment. Available in three colors: honey (a warm tone), natural and shabby white.

Care: This bed is made of natural untreated material (absolutely free from chemical treatments, as anti fungi or anti mould) and fears humidity. Please, remove the futon weekly in order to let the wood breath and stay dry. This little trick requires a little effort, yet it allows you to sleep on a truly healthy bed.
